We do not collect: payment card details (handled entirely by Stripe), sensitive personal data, data from children, or any data through cookies on this website.
03 How we use your data
We use your data solely for the purposes stated in the table above. Specifically:
- To send your discount code when you sign up to our mailing list
- To deliver your purchased PDF guide and related purchase confirmation
- To send a short post-purchase email sequence providing guidance tips related to your guide topic (Days 0, 3, 7, and 30 after purchase)
- To send occasional updates about new Claro guides, you can unsubscribe at any time
- To personalise email content with lightweight contextual details such as season or weather
We do not use your data for automated decision-making, profiling, targeted advertising, or any purpose beyond the above.

05 How long we keep your data
- Newsletter subscribers: Until you unsubscribe or request deletion
- Purchase records: 6 years from the date of purchase, as required by UK tax law (HMRC)
- Post-purchase email sequence: Removed from active sequences 60 days after purchase; retained in purchase records as above

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By completing a purchase you agree to Stripe's terms in addition to these Terms. Your guide is delivered immediately via a secure download link and emailed to you.
- Our learn-something-new guarantee: If you read your guide and honestly haven't learned something new, email us within 7 days of purchase and we'll refund you in full, no forms, no fuss. This guarantee is offered in addition to your statutory rights.
- Consumer rights: Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable UK legislation
- Faulty products: If a guide file is corrupted, incomplete, or not as described, contact us and we will provide a replacement or full refund
- Discount codes: Discount codes are for one-time use, apply to a single purchase, and cannot be combined with other offers unless stated
05 Intellectual property
All content produced and published by Claro Guides, including guide text, design, structure, and branding, is the intellectual property of Andrew Dunne and is protected by UK copyright law.

- You may not reproduce, redistribute, resell, share publicly, or create derivative works from any Claro Guides product without prior written permission

06 Email communications
By signing up to the Claro Guides mailing list you consent to receive marketing emails including new guide announcements and occasional useful content. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send. Post-purchase email sequences are sent as part of your purchase and are not marketing emails. They relate directly to the guide you purchased.
07 Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Claro Guides and Andrew Dunne shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special loss or damage arising from your use of or reliance on our guides or this website, including but not limited to financial loss, loss of data, or loss of opportunity.
Our total liability to you in connection with any purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant guide.
